On May, 30th, 1846, in capital of the Russian empire, in the city of St.-Petersburg Peter Carl Faberge was born. 1942 has been eventful in Gustav Faberge's life, except the basis of own business he married the daughter of Danish artist Charlotte Jungstedt, thereby having based the family. His elder son Peter Carl has got magnificent education, in the beginning at Sacred Anna's school in Germany, and after in Handelsschule in Dresden. After training it has continued training in a private order in Frankfurt at jeweler Joseph Fridman. In 1872 having celebrated the twenty-six anniversary, Peter Carl returns home, to St.-Petersburg and accepts in the hands family business.

The father hasn't regretted about that that has transferred the company to the successor, in due course the small jeweler workshop has turned to the largest enterprise of the branch in the Russian empire and one of the world's largest. The firm Faberge establishes branches in London, Odessa, Kiev and Moscow, and trades in the products for the whole world. In 1885 the company becomes the Goldsmith by special appointment to the Imperial Crown, and the history of one of the most expensive collections in the world, stories of Imperial Easter eggs Faberge from this point on begins. In 1890 Peter Carl becomes the Hereditary Honourable Citizen and the appraiser of the Office of its Imperial Majesty. Together with it popularity of products Faberge and on international scene grows, in clients of firm all dynasties of monarchs of Europe and Asia are registered almost.

By this moment Peter Carl Faberge already had a family and children, the wife of Augusta Julia Jacobs, and 4 sons: Evgenie (1874), Agafon (1876), Alexander (1877) and Nikolay (1884). Sons, as well as their father with the grandfather as were masters of jewellery and continued business begun by their ancestors. Events of 1917 in the Russian empire led to overthrow of the Tsar and the organization of the Communistic country have compelled to close Faberge in 1918 the company. The rest of life of Fabrge has spent in Switzerland where has died on September, 24th, 1920.
